President-elect Donald J. Trump plans to meet with leaders of the technology industry next week, according to a transition official. A list of attendees hasnât been revealed, but many in the sector vocally opposed Mr. Trump during the campaign.
Another campaign adversary, Mitt Romney, is still in the running for secretary of state, Mr. Trump said in a televised interview today.
⢠Rally in North Carolina.
On Tuesday night, Mr. Trump formally introduced James N. Mattis, a retired general, as his choice for defense secretary at a speech in Fayetteville. The president-elect also broadly outlined his foreign policy plans.
